Behold.

I have started numerous blogs before and never stick with them, so hopefully I can keep myself entertained long enough to stick with this HAH!  A little background about me: I am originally from Louisiana, a great state to be from, but I never want to live there again! I hold tight to my southern/cajun roots.  The culture and food there is like nowhere else in the world.  I miss the food and Mardi Gras.  I am married to the greatest guy I know and we have a one year old daughter, Annika.  We are a Navy family currently stationed in Illinois.  My life is busy, when I have time (rarely lately)I love to do miscellaneous crafts and restore furniture.

I have struggled for some time with this, but have finally accepted that I am perfectly imperfect.  I no longer sweat the fact that I don't fit society's mold. I am who I am, and it is okay to be the quirky, clumsy bank geek who keeps to herself that I was in high school.  Haha it is incredible the change someone makes in 10 years!
